What about the opposite of humiliation, i.e., “saving face”? What’s that all about? And where the heck did that phrase come from anyhow? Or the notion of “allowing someone to save face”?
Why is it that I always feel pleased when my vote turns out to, at least at that point, be part of the largest group? As if I this proved I was clever in my choice. You would think I would be proud to be in the minority, not one of the herd. As usual, thanks for brining me an early morning chuckle.
