You spotted the error in the pot's last name, but then misspelled the kettle's. It is Kurelek, not Kuralek. Shame!

Added bonus error: The river-stepping historian was Heraclitus, not Herodotus!

Also hubris is spelled with a “u”

A gem from Wikipedia: Edith Wharton and Ogden Codman Jr., in The Decoration of Houses (1897), distinguished three gradations of quality in such "household ornaments": bric-à-brac, bibelots (trinkets) and objets d'art.

Well that was a corker of a post, as would any post that quotes Carlin and Lebowitz, and Bombeck! And as I look up from my laptop at the wall of CD. vinyl, and mementos in my living room/office, I reassure myself that my stuff is truly the stuff of memories (smile).

Congrats on the Pierre Berton catch. Have you noticed the new Tim Hortons ad, in which the final image is a heart with the word "Tims" in it, without an apostrophe? At least it's consistent with Tim Hortons not having an apostrophe.
