Hello you lovely paid supporter of Get Wit Quick!
I’m delighted to share my new biweekly column in The Globe and Mail, Canada’s national newspaper, directly with you. I pitched it thusly: “A zeitgeisty language column, a short take on a term in the culture and its larger significance. But short! Did I mention short? I think I could hit it in 500 words. No overthinking, just an introduction and definition for those coming in cold, a timely example, a few jokes, an explanation of why it matters, and a clever ending.”
The spicy first installment appeared on Saturday August 29, and No. 2 is in tomorrow’s paper. Links to read each, as well as full text, herewith. Enjoy!
